Changelog
0.3.02026-07-26
New Features
- Diplomacy entry history now also logs note edits, contact changes and role changes, not just status changes; note edits are logged as a fact only, the text itself is never stored.
- Diplomacy entries can now link to a real guild via a one-time, week-long diplomacy code with a preview before redeeming; statuses and notes stay private, and deleting a link reverts the other side's entry to a plain one.
- Diplomacy entries can now list contacts (name + role) shown on the card, private like the entry itself and never shared with a linked guild.
- New optional Diplomacy module: a private per-guild list of other guilds with a status and note, hideable from regular members, off by default.
- Diplomacy links can now be removed without deleting either entry, status/note/contacts/history are kept and the removal is logged on both sides; a new code can reconnect later.
- Events can now require a readiness level: unqualified members are blocked or benched, excluded from the role composition, never dropped retroactively, and shown which level and mentor they need; enforced on Discord too, but never for guest guilds.
- The guild audit log now also covers events, points, projects and diplomacy, with bulk actions logged as a single entry and automatic or self-service actions excluded.
- New guild audit log tracks rank, kick, invite, join-request and settings changes plus Discord connect/disconnect, gated by a new permission; the browsing page follows later.
- The guild audit log now has its own sidebar page with plain-language entries, filterable by type and by 7/30/90 days, loaded on demand.
- New optional Platform-tracking module: members set their platform themselves or via a manager, shown on profiles and as a filterable member-list column, off by default.
- New Mentors page: a sign-off grid per member plus a class-mentor overview, filterable by name, class or missing sign-off; members can request sign-offs from the blocking event, and class changes clear old sign-offs (mentors always keep all).
- Mentor and sign-off audit entries now read like normal entries and get their own "Mentors" filter category instead of a placeholder.
- Guilds can now define custom readiness levels and class mentors, who grant sign-offs like officers but never to themselves; sign-offs record who and when, and levels can be retired without losing history. Off by default.
- Your profile is now one editable page for name, class, platform and score; the separate "My Profile" settings page is gone.
- Events can now be shared with diplomacy-linked guilds, who accept independently and get it in their own calendar and Discord; points and signups stay separated per guild.
- The sidebar is now grouped into labelled, permission-aware sections; the duplicate "My Profile" entry is gone, and theme/language moved under your name.
- Readiness levels are now called sign-offs, and the list is visible only to those responsible for a member, not the whole guild or the member themselves.
- Class switching now needs confirmation, warning when it will reset your sign-offs.
- All confirmation dialogs are now consistent: no accidental close, buttons lock while running, screen-reader announced, and multi-line fields share one style.
- The Diplomacy page now has a dismissible intro explaining the module and diplomacy codes.
- Diplomacy entries now have a status history (who and when), kept since launch.
- Guild settings now show the Discord channels by name, flag missing ones with the setup command, and disconnecting uses a proper explanatory dialog.
- Events now use a duration in minutes instead of an end date, and setups can be saved as shared templates (up to 20 per guild).
- Progression-score editing now pre-fills the current value, officers only see fields they may edit, and the danger zone moved under your own settings.
- The profile page is redesigned with a header row for identity, four equal stat figures, full-width history, and touch-friendly controls.
- Fixed shared-event counting and editing bugs (declined guilds, double-counted members, guest counts, hostile/unlinked guilds, per-guild point finalization).
- Discord signup lists now show in-game names instead of @mentions, and shared events show each allied guild as one attendee count.
- Legal notice, privacy policy and the changelog are now reachable from an in-app footer, not just the landing page.
- Fixed the audit log's time filters and made entries more precise; unchanged saves and already-deleted invites no longer add pointless entries, and settings changes now respect rank permissions.

Bug Fixes
- The dashboard "Active Players" count now excludes members who are currently on vacation, and previews how that number changes next week as members leave or return from leave.
- Date and date/time pickers now correctly show the native mobile picker on touch devices and the custom picker on devices with a mouse, regardless of window size.
- Your Discord email address is no longer requested or stored on login – only your Discord name and avatar.
- Create guilds through a guided wizard that pre-fills classes for your game, offers rank/permission presets, and lets you switch modules (DKP, auctions, attendance & gear tracking) on right away.

New Features
- Members can now register their own absences (from–to), and events can be marked as mandatory. Missing a mandatory event without a registered absence deducts points when the event is finalized, and officers see a preview of who will be affected before confirming.
- Added a global announcement banner so admins can broadcast important messages (e.g. maintenance windows) to everyone using Gildeo, with styling that reflects the message's urgency (info, success, warning, error).
- Guild leaders can now create custom ranks with granular permissions (e.g. manage DKP, events, or invites) instead of the old fixed roles, giving much finer control over who can do what in the guild. New members are automatically assigned a configurable default rank, and Discord bot commands now respect the same permissions.
